01Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy explains how Tradiso Partners (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our Site, apply for membership or use our Service.
Tradiso Partners is a separate company from the Tradiso brokerage business. This policy applies only to our education and community Service.
02Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Application information: name, email address, country, trading background, goals and any other information you choose to provide in your application or in conversation with our team.
- Account & billing information: the information necessary to set up and maintain your membership, including limited billing details required by our payment processor.
- Usage information: activity inside the Service — for example which curriculum you’ve viewed, your attendance at live sessions and your participation in the community.
- Technical information: IP address, device, browser and similar data necessary to deliver the Service securely.
- Communications: messages you send to us and messages you post inside the Service.
03How we use your information
We use your personal data to:
- review your application and decide whether to extend membership;
- provide and maintain the Service, including delivering curriculum, hosting sessions and operating the community;
- process payments through our third-party payment processors;
- communicate with you about your membership, including notices, updates and support;
- improve and personalise the Service;
- protect the security and integrity of the Service, including detecting and preventing fraud and abuse;
- comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
04Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires it, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases to process your personal data:
- Performance of a contract: to provide the Service you have applied for and accepted.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure and improve our Service, and to communicate with members.
- Consent: for any optional marketing communications you opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws.
05How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only with:
- Service providers who help us deliver the Service — for example, our hosting provider, our payment processor (which may include WHOP), our email and analytics tools — under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions.
- Other members, to the extent you choose to share information with them inside the community (for example by posting in a channel or attending a live session).
- Regulators, law enforcement or other parties where required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect our rights, members or the public.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of our business.
06International transfers
We are an international business and your personal data may be stored or processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we put in place appropriate safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses) to protect personal data transferred internationally.
07Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. After that, we either delete the data or anonymise it.
08Cookies & analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure and improve the Service, and to understand how visitors use the Site. Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
09Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights in respect of your personal data, including the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your data, subject to our legal obligations to retain it;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability of your data; and
- withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@tradisopartners.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No system, however, is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
11Children
The Service is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a new effective date. Where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
